The Rosewood Limited Edition Series

These snares are built using the very rare and extremely expensive Honduran Rosewood (currently on the Cites list). Unfortunately my stock of this particular wood is depleted. It provided just enough to build a handful of these snares, 8 in total. Currently still available are a 14” x 6”, 8 mm fingerjointed stave shell snare drum and a 14” x 5,5”, 8 mm fingerjointed stave shell snare drum. The rest of these drums already have been sold. I will not be making these anytime soon, if ever. This particular batch had been drying for 15 years. So it has had the time to mature and I think these snares are in a league of their own. With two snares still available you still have the chance to own one.

These drums deliver in sound on every level. They produce lows, mids and super sweet highs. While playing them you can hear the beautiful expression of full bodied ghostnotes and fantastic overtones. These drums are definitely a real rarity to own and play (check out videos above) These snare drums are probably among the best I ever made and they certainly represent what Zebra Drums is all about. Available with chrome hardware and a matte oil finish.
