I’m very proudly presenting the latest series from Zebra Drums; The Red Plane series!

Made from London Plane Wood, which is one of the softest woods I work with, these snare drums sound rich, warm, full bodied with a great attack (without sounding too loud). They really sing beautifully with snares wires both on and off. Please check out the YouTube link where I show you how these sound in different tunings and you can pick your favorite size.

This is a limited edition series since the lug used on these drums is no longer being made and I have some left in stock. Each drum even has it’s own number featured on an additional custom badge, ranging from 1 to 7, depending on when it’s made. With the all black hardware and the Flaming Red stain these snares look the business. The series is limited to 7 drums in total: 4 snares of the 14” x 6” and 3 snares of the 14” x 7”. So get yours before they are gone!

Shell: a 9mm fingerjointed stave shell
Hardware: Black nickel tube lugs and 2.3mm triple flanged hoops, Trick strainer and Zebra durable wires straps for extra sensitivity and durability. Fitted entirely with Thread Locks which prevent detuning while playing and also result in a very smooth tuning experience.
